昨天(29/07/2009)下了班,就到離家最近的社區福務中心借輪椅了,
真的很方便,櫃台的女士也是態度很好,
只要簡單填了表格及影印身分證,就可以直接推走輪椅了,
新加坡真的愈來愈好了..哇哈哈

由於媽媽計劃8月來新加坡一個星期,
但因為她的脊椎長了軟骨,但又不能開刀的影響,導致走路很辛苦,所以,我都會去租借輪椅,讓她出去時可以使用,
最近上網及朋友提供了一些資訊,都是免費租借的服務

Loan of Mobility Aids
a) Rent free period
HWA members get to use the borrowed equipment free for six months. After that a monthly rent is payable for use of the equipment for a month or part of a month.
b) Administrative Charge
An administrative charge is payable if the member borrows more than 3 pieces of equipment or has on record more than 3 pieces of loaned equipment yet to be returned. The administrative charge payable is $3 per piece loaned subject to a minimum of $10 on each occasion when administrative charge is payable.
c) Deposit and Monthly Rent
The borrower has to pay a refundable deposit for each piece of equipment loaned. This deposit would be used to offset charges for repairs arising from damages or forfeited when the borrower failed to return the equipment. The table of deposits and monthly rent charges is shown in the following table:

(2) Public

(3) Foreigner
a) Rent

An administrative fee of $30 is charged for every piece borrowed.

This deposit would be used to offset charges for repairs arising from damages or forfeited when the borrower failed to return the equipment. (d) Delivery and Collection
Arrangement can be made for the Association’s transport to deliver the equipment to the hotel, hospital or service apartment and to collect the equipment. The service charges would be $30 per trip. If there is more than one piece of equipment, a service fee of $5 per piece will be charged.
